PAST
USA DESERT CAMO JACkET - 1990’s
From the 1960’s, the USA started to develop a pattern used just for the desert environment, drawing their inspiration form the Californian desert.
In the 1973 the US Army developed the final version of this pattern, which consisted in two shades of brown and beige background, all covered with little black and white pebbles.
Used for the first time during the “desert storm” operation, the complete uniform was composed by a field jacket and cargo pants with a six color desert pattern. Later in the years, soldiers called this uniform “Chocolate chip pattern”, because the little graphics pebbles elements reminded them of chocolate cookies.
I LOVE THIS JACKET!
